Ashmont Hill resident with husband David since 1986; raised two sons who returned to the area after college; career artist in her AH studio; Codman Square House Tour Host; former board member: AH Chamber Music and Dot Art; participant: DAC Open Studios; loves canoeing Neponset, connecting with neighbors.

20 years on Ashmont Hill, career in co-ops (magazine and newsletter editor, membership staffer), former AHA board member (late ‘90s), former editor Dorchester Community News (early ‘90s), Dot People for Peace Decision

Elizabeth Brown
Has lived in Ashmont Hill since 2005, and loves being part of a neighborhood—it’s a totally new experience for her. She’s a freelance writer, and medical secretary, and is looking at a new possibilities working with animals. She’s also the proud owner of Luna and Gryffindor.

Kurt Eddy
Ashmont Hill and Boston resident for over 2.5 years; moved to area from Virginia with his partner Eric Chaves; enjoys the beautiful architecture and
rich history of the neighborhood; has been on the Board for two years, and has participated in and helped organize the Summer Party, the Neighborhood Cleanup, and the Moveable Feast.

David Mooney
Resident since 2004; active in neighborhood events, e.g. Holiday Party host; Codman Square House Tour host; Ashmont Hill Chamber Music board member. Loves city living the way it should be, especially with his partner,
Leo and his golden retriever, Molly.

 

Jim Buckley
Has lived on Ashmont Hill for over 3 years; Justice of the Peace, Notary Public; published writer of over 1,300 articles; Secretary of ODWIN Board of Directors, guide at the Forbes House Museum in Milton, SMAMS board member; Codman Square House Tour volunteer.

Yixin Harrison Tang*
Ashmont Hill resident for five years, loves the neighborhood. Law school took away most of his time the last three years; now he would like to contribute to all AHA activities, do his part to make the neighborhood vibrant and strong.

Debbie Munson
Neighborhood resident for three years with husband Andy Schroeder; on the board for a year as asst. treasurer. Enjoys bike riding, gardening, and the outdoors around Boston and beyond.
Especially enjoys neighborhood events where food and cooking are involved. Professional experience in science education and technology.

Vicki Rugo
Ashmont Hill resident, with husband Bob and two nowgrown daughters, since 1975; AHA Board member since 1998; Ashmont Outlook editor, Movable Feast committee; interests include preservation of Dorchester’s architectural resources, support/development of local businesses, getting more neighbors involved in AHA activities and leadership.
